WHEN DO YOU FILE AN IMPROVEMENT APPLICATION FORM?
An Improvement Application form must be submitted for any construction, addition or change to the exterior of your home or grounds. If in doubt about your particular project, contact Towne Properties.
WHAT IS THE OBJECT OF THE IMPROVEMENT APPLICATION FORM?
The object of requiring a homeowner to file an improvement application with the Board is two fold:
1. To ensure that your planned improvement enhances the beauty and maintains the architectural harmony of the community and in no way inconveniences your fellow homeowners.
2. To enable the Board of Trustees to determine what information and assistance it can give in order to expedite completion of your improvement.
POLICY ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES NOVEMBER 20, 1990: IMPROVEMENT APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED BY HOMEOWNERS THAT ARE DELINQUENT WITH THEIR ASSESSMENT WILL NOT RECEIVE APPROVAL OF THEIR APPLICATIONS UNTIL THE ASSESSMENT IS PAID IN FULL.
Applications are reviewed monthly by the Beckett Ridge Board of Trustees. To be reviewed at the monthly meeting, the deadline for improvement applications is at 12 noon by the second Tuesday of the month. Submit applications to:

For expedited consideration of your application, there is a fee of $50.00 payable to the Beckett Ridge HOA due with submission of your application.

A DRAWING OF ALL IMPROVEMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED AND ATTACHED TO THIS APPLICATION TO SHOW DIMENSIONS AND STYLE. A PLAT MAP MUST BE SUBMITTED TO SHOW EXACT LOCATION OF IMPROVEMENT.
THE APPLICATION MUST BE IN THE OFFICES OF TOWNE PROPERTIES BY NOON ON THE SECOND TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH TO BE CONSIDERED THAT MONTH.
I understand the rules concerning the proposed improvement. This improvement in no way encroaches on a neighbor's private property or on Common Ground. I agree to abide by the rules established by the Board of Trustees, and will be solely liable for any upkeep required by the addition of this improvement. Applicant is responsible to conformance to the requirements that any public body may impose.
THIS APPLICATION IS NOT TRANSFERABLE. IF WORK IS NOT COMPLETED WHEN THE HOME IS PURCHASED BY A NEW OWNER, THIS APPLICATION MUST BE RESUBMITTED TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR APPROVAL.
ALL WORK MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF APPROVAL. IN ADDITION, MAJOR CONSTRUCTION MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 120 DAYS FROM THE DATE THAT CONSTRUCTION BEGINS.
