Beckett Ridge HOA Board Meeting

November 15, 2011 at Tri-County Baptist Church

Meeting Minutes

 

 

Call to Order

Dennis Bender called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

 

Board Members present were Dennis Bender, Mark Morris, Debbie Olszowka, Sharon Palm, Terri McGill-Wong, and Burt Young. Dave Burling was absent with notice. Representatives from Towne Properties and Brickman were also in attendance.

Homeowner Requests/Concerns

None

 

Minutes

The Minutes of the Board of Trustees October meeting were approved with no changes.

 

Brickman

Bob Wilson gave the report.  He reviewed the maintenance schedule. He presented the Board with two proposals for turf repair along the Boulevard and trimming back trees by the Meadows.  The Board reviewed the proposals and voted to accept them.

 

Landscape Committee Report

No report.

 

Architectural Review

No submitted.

Managers Report

Debi Perkins gave the report.  The Board reviewed the current Management Report.

Financial

The Board reviewed and approved the current cash statement and delinquent status report.  As of November 8, 2011, the delinquency amount was $52,497.  

 

Phone Log

The Board reviewed the phone and email log from Towne Properties.

Old Business

A.     Rupp Farm Drainage - Update

Dennis Bender reviewed with the Board the spec proposal to Kleingers & Associates for the hillside area between Indian Ridge and Rupp Farm. The Board hopes to have a cost estimate for the next Board meeting.

 

New Business

A.     Crossbridge Culvert

Butler County Engineers contacted the Association about the replacement of the guardrail on Crossbridge north of the Meadows. The County wants to install a fence. The Board will set up a meeting with the Engineers’ office to discuss the project.

 

B.     Storage Sheds

Twenty owners attended the meeting to give their opinions on whether or not storage sheds should be allowed in Beckett Ridge. The Board told the group that they would discuss the issue further and announce their decision at a future meeting.

 

Adjournment

There being no further business to come before the Board, the general meeting was adjourned at 8:05 p.m. 

Next Meeting

The next Board of Trustees Meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at Tri-County Baptist Church.  There will be no December meeting.
